Evans Cup
The Evans Cup is awarded to the winner of the ITTF Men’s World Cup, inaugurated in 1980 in Hong Kong, China. This prestigious trophy is named after Roy Evans, the second president of ITTF who served for 20 years.Guo Yuehua was the first to lift the Evans Cup and would later go on to win the trophy again in 1982. Overall, China has won the Evans Cup 26 times over the past 41 editions of the ITTF Men’s World Cup, with Ma Lin (2000, 2003, 2004, 2006) and Fan Zhendong (2016, 2018, 2019, 2020) holding the joint record for most wins, each securing the cup four times.
Hammarlund Cup
Bestowed upon the champion of the ITTF Women’s World Cup, the Hammarlund Cup is named in memory of Sven-Olaf ‘Lollo’ Hammarlund, the fourth president of ITTF.
