DENVER It’s been a growing trend, of course, but more than ever, young stars shine in college hockey. This is plainly evident by our All-CHN teams this year.
Of the 10 skaters, not a single one is beyond his sophomore year. Each of the goaltenders is, which may also say something.
Five of the 10 are freshmen, two of which will be top five NHL Draft picks in June, while another, Zeev Buium, may go in the top 10. Macklin Celebrini is projected to go No. 1 overall.
