After Boston University defeated Minnesota in the Sioux Falls regional final, associate head coach Joe Periera spotted Jack Harvey’s mom in the lobby.
“I’m so proud of your kid,” Periera said.
Harvey had scored a goal in the win, netting the go-ahead tally in the second period after assisting on the game-tying goal just minutes before. He also scored in the win over RIT as well.
When Harvey’s parents found him after the game, they congratulated him.
Harvey has been an offensive force for the Terriers of late, especially in his two NCAA Tournament appearances. But the freshman is nowhere near the team lead in points, although his linemate — Macklin Celebrini — of course…
