History Suggests It Will, It Just Won’t Include a Minnesota Team This Time

Ted Donato remembers the quiet of Minnesota’s St. Paul Civic Center. It was almost eerie. The Gopher roar vanished. Screams reserved for championships from his teammates and the 500 or so Harvard fans in the crowd served as the only sounds.
“It’s a feeling I honestly wish every hockey player could have once in their life,” said Donato, who is currently coaching Harvard, but was then a third-line winger. “To be in a full building against you and to be able to hear your teammates celebrating because of the quietness in the building, there’s nothing like it.”
The silence carried over to the watch party at the house…
