The NCHC will look to claim its seventh national championship since 2016 and they’ll do it with a new team this season, as Arizona State joins the conference for the 2024-25 campaign. Denver and North Dakota once again look poised for the Penrose while several programs continued their upward trajectory and others look to get back on track this winter. Here’s what you can expect from each of the NCHC’s nine teams.
Denver
Head coach: David Carle (7th season)
2023-24 record: 32-9-3, 15-7-2
NCHC finish: Second (45 points)
Changes: Five of DU’s top scorers are gone from last season in Massimo Rizzo, Miko Matikka, McKade Webster and Tristan Broz up front, along with Shai Buium on the back end…
