England rounded off their entry in the 2024 BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championships by securing a fifteenth-place finish in the Nanchang-held Suhindanata Cup.
The seven-strong squad of Lucy Brierley, Jia Bin Lee, Benjamin Horseman, Jason Ou, Lila Dunas, Rajvi Parab and Matilda Franklin did enough to progress from the group stage after a second-placed finish behind Japan in Group G but had their progress in the competition checked by Thailand in the round of 16.
England had begun their tournament in style with an emphatic victory over Latvia, with not a single member of the team dropping a game against their Baltic counterpart as the team ran out 110-47 winners.
