Welcome back, college hockey!
The season kicked off last weekend but gets into full swing this weekend. We’ve already had some unbelievable storylines, including a student manager starting Merrimack’s opener, the pending eligibility of CHL players, and a lot more.
The CHL issue is the biggest story in hockey. It will impact the NHL, AHL, multiple junior leagues, and, of course, the NCAA. On Tuesday, the D-I Management Council pushed a vote on the proposal to November.
Pushing the vote to November doesn’t change the likelihood of it passing. Most people in college hockey expect the Council to pass the legislation.
