Looking back on the 2024 championship, there is one extremely notable absentee in the 2024 France Six Nations squad – Antoine Dupont. The talismanic scrum-half and captain opted to have a crack at winning a Rugby Sevens gold medal at the Paris Olympics and, as history now tells us, it was a move that paid off in spectacular style.
In Dupont’s absence, Les Bleus had a slightly disappointing tournament. Losing to reigning champions Ireland on the opening day meant they were always on the back foot, but drawing at home to Italy meant they weren’t in a position to capitalise when Ireland slipped up against England.
Head coach Fabien Galthié can call on one of the best pools of players in the world, however, and the France Six Nations squad is sure to be in contention for the 2025 championship. In the meantime, scroll down to see the players he selected in 2024.
