In the ever-evolving landscape of hockey analytics, we have developed a new metric specifically designed for the college game: CHIP (College Hockey Individual Point value). Like baseball’s WAR (Wins Above Replacement), CHIP represents an attempt to distill a player’s overall value into a single, comprehensive number.
