Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is reportedly determined to extend the contract of Amad Diallo.
Diallo has been superb from the right wing-back role under the Portuguese and he has already made several goal contributions.
His current deal expires at the end of the campaign, but United have the option to keep him for another year with a clause.
Despite this, Amorim has urged the hierarchy to negotiate fresh terms as soon as possible such that Diallo can focus on his game.
Diallo is currently one of the lowest earners at the club at around £29,000 per week and he is likely to hold out for £100,000 per week.
United are said to be eyeing an agreement for £50,000 weekly with incentives and a middle ground has to be reached soon.
