With Frozen Four Coming Back There, Lindenwood Raises Its Stature

At the end of this season, the NCAA champion will be crowned in St. Louis, marking the tournament’s return to the city for the first time in nearly 20 years. But it’s not the only hockey milestone the city has reached within the past few years.
The arrival of Lindenwood on the Division I men’s scene snapped a 40-year drought in the city.
While Lindenwood isn’t in the city proper – it’s a half hour drive away – it’s close enough to make in impact.
“It’s surreal, being able to play this level of hockey in front of, like, my friends and family,” Lindenwood’s Tyler Loughman said.
