With a 126-114 loss to the Cavs on Thursday night, the Nuggets are now 11-9 in 2024-25. The team is 4-6 in their last 10 and Nikola Jokic is carrying the team on many levels. The 29-year-old is averaging a 30-point triple-double this season for Denver. However, he needs consistency from his teammates if the Nuggets want to be legitimate contenders in the West.
In their loss to the Cavaliers on Thursday, Jokic had 27 points, 20 rebounds, and 11 assists. That was his eighth triple-double in 17 games this season. Additionally, that was his 139th career-triple double. Jokic passed NBA Hall of Famer Magic Johnson and now has the third-most triple-doubles in NBA history. The three-time MVP continues to etch his name in the record books and proves he’s one of the best European players we’ve ever seen.
