Two-year-old filly Cruz Ramirez , a debut winner at Laurel Park Dec. 8, is a late supplement to Fasig-Tipton’s December Digital Sale.
Trained by Brittany Russell and campaigned by NET Racing, Cruz Ramirez went wire-to-wire in maiden special weight company going six furlongs on the dirt to win by a length as the odds-on favorite.
Cruz Ramirez was bred and raised in Kentucky by Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings and is a daughter of champion and leading young sire Good Magic , sire of this year’s Belmont Stakes (G1) and Haskell Stakes (G1) winner Dornoch . She is out of the mare Ragtime Hope, a multiple stakes winner by Dixieland Band.
