Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Gabriel Jesus following the FA Cup third round defeat to Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners suffered a shock loss to the Red Devils in the FA Cup. They had a man advantage for more than 60 minutes, but were unable to find the winner in regular time (1-1).
The game eventually went to a penalty shoot-out where United came on top. Speaking after the game, Arteta was posed with plenty of questions including one on Jesus’ injury.
The Brazilian was taken off in a stretcher after picking up an apparent knee injury and Arteta acknowledged that it is not looking good as he was in a lot of pain leaving the field.
He said: “No update but it’s not looking good. He was in quite a lot of pain, he had to come off on a stretcher and he’s not looking good.”
With Jesus set to be…
