Tottenham Hotspur have identified Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho as a long-term successor for Heung-min Son, according to Football Transfers.
The Argentina international has had a tough time under manager Ruben Amorim. He has largely started from the substitutes’ bench under the Portuguese tactician.
This has spread speculation regarding his future, and reports claim that Spurs are lining up a shock swoop for the former Atletico Madrid graduate.
Garnacho’s agent has been actively speaking with many European clubs including Napoli, but Spurs could be the ones to test United’s resolve.
It is claimed that the north London giants could be prepared to pay as much as £60 million to secure his signature during the winter transfer window.
