This year’s annual Comm Ave Classic, so lovingly named for the main road that connects Boston College and Boston University, will be a little bit different.
It takes about 25 minutes to ride Boston’s lumbering public transit from the edge of Boston University’s campus to Boston College. It’s a distance of three miles, walkable if you choose to devote several hours in the more temperate months.
It’s one reason why the rivalry between Boston College and Boston University is so passionate. Not only is it easy to travel from one school to the other, but student and alumni friendships span across the two campuses. So while the schools may be enemies on the ice (or court, or…
