Rivals Will Meet in Final For First Time Since 2016

BOSTON On January 10th, Mikhail Yegorov stopped 30 of 31 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Waterloo Black Hawks of the USHL. Yegorov, then a member of the Omaha Lancers, a franchise that has fallen apart and hadn’t won since November.
Eleven days later he was officially rescued, er, added to the Terriers roster after enrolling at Boston University.
Still using his Omaha Lancers’ orange blocker, glove and pads, Yegorov backstopped the Terriers to a 7-1 victory over Harvard, propelling them to the Beanpot final for the second consecutive year and the fourth time in five seasons.
