Colgate kept the good times rolling with a 4-0 win over RPI. While an at-large NCAA bid is unlikely for the Raiders, they have moved up to No. 19 after going 8-2-1 in their last 11 games. Defenseman Tommy Bergsland scored twice, and junior goalie Andrew Takacs earned his second shutout.
“I got lucky and got the puck in good spots,” Bergsland said. “I just tried to get them on the net, and luckily, they both went in. As we enter this final stretch of the season, we are just trying to get our details down and get pucks on goal, and I think tonight was a great response.”
Colgate is also just one point behind Quinnipiac for first place in the league, after the Bobcats dropped an overtime game to Clarkson. Clarkson’s two wins this weekend have it up to fourth…
