When J.F. Houle took over at Clarkson last summer, he knew that he had a good nucleus to work with, but he also understood it would take time for his team to buy in to his brand of hockey.
The bumps and bruises taken earlier in the season have gone a long way to molding his Golden Knights into the team they are today.
After a pair of wins in central New York, against Cornell and Colgate, Clarkson sits comfortably in second place in the ECAC and have won six straight games. It is one of the hottest teams in college hockey and it has set itself up as the favorite in the ECAC Tournament.
