There Will Be More After Next Season, Somewhere, For 2-Time Champ Coach

When two-time national champion coach Jeff Jackson announced this week that he will step down from Notre Dame after this upcoming season, his 20th in South Bend, the word “retirement” was never used.
Jackson said he could see himself, for example, returning to the NHL as an assistant coach. He spoke earlier this week to former Notre Dame basketball coach Mike Bray, now an assistant in the NBA, about such a move.
That’s just one option, though.
