Philadelphia 76ers guard Jared McCain was named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for October/November.
McCain, who was selected with the 16th overall pick in June’s 2024 NBA Draft, has been nothing but a hit sensation since touching down in Pennsylvania for the Sixers.
The 20-year-old out of Duke is widely known for his bubbly, outgoing personality and strong social media presence which has seen him become a fan favorite across the league – not just in Philly.
McCain became the seventh player in franchise history to win the award and the first 76er since Ben Simmons in March 2018, who also won Rookie of the Year.
According to the best online betting sites, McCain is the odds-on favorite at a best-price -150 to follow in Simmons’ footsteps and get his hands on the prestigious award at the end of the season.
