Arsenal considered a move for Manchester United star Marcus Rashford last summer, according to Daily Mail.
The north London giants have had a below-par season by their high standards and they are currently six points behind Liverpool in the Premier League, who have a game in hand as well.
The Gunners are already playing catch-up in the league title race and this has led to multiple questions over why they did not sign a new striker during last summer’s transfer window.
It is now revealed that Rashford was under the Gunners’ consideration earlier this year, but they did not make a formal proposal to the Red Devils.
