Princeton, the only remaining team with a head coaching opening this offseason, is getting closer to making a selection.
CHN sources indicate that top Quinnipiac assistant Joe Dumais, considered a frontrunner, has removed himself from consideration. Dumais has done similarly over the last two seasons when there were openings at Colgate and Union. Dumais has won national championships at both Union (2014) and Quinnipiac (2023), his alma mater.
Among those who have interviewed, or were expected to, are Cornell assistant Ben Syer, Michigan assistant Rob Rassey, and Arizona State assistant Dana Borges.
Syer was also previously an assistant at Quinnipiac, then went to Cornell in 2011.
