Forward Christian Humphreys has decided to leave Michigan and sign with the OHL’s Kitchener Rangers.
Humpreys, a seventh-round pick in 2024 by Chicago, played in 10 games with the Wolverines this season, scoring one assist. He played six minutes in Michigan’s last game, Sunday against Ohio State.
Humphreys is a native of Pittsburgh, and was previously in the U.S. national program.
Whereas in the past, that would end his collegiate eligibility, Humphreys now has the option to come back to the NCAA if he wants, at some point.
