Early in the season, the prospects for Colgate were pretty low. With just one win in its first six games, it seemed just like the team that many pundits thought would struggle.
But now with four weeks left in the season, the Raiders are right in the thick of the ECAC regular-season title race, sitting just one point behind usual leaders, Quinnipiac.
With a smooth skating approach reminiscent of second-year coach Mike Harder’s tip in the Colgate sweater, the Raiders have started to pick up steam. With seven wins in their last nine games they are now the hottest team in the ECAC and one of hottest in the country.
