Liam McLinskey’s freshman year at Quinnipiac did not go the way he had hoped. A deep Bobcats roster made it difficult for McLinskey and fellow freshmen to crack the lineup. He appeared in just two games that season.
The following season, Quinnipiac went on to win a national championship.
“I didn’t think about it that much, me leaving. I never wished defeat on them because I was really good friends with them. My cousin (CJ McGee) was on the team, I was rooting for them every step of the way,” McLinskey said.
Following his freshman year, McLinskey entered the transfer portal, eventually landing at Holy Cross. Ultimately it was an easy choice, reuniting…
