Clarkson Continues to Roll, Wins 6th Straight

Cornell University lavished coach Mike Schafer with praise and gifts at the conclusion of Saturday night’s game. But the team gave him the best gift of all — a rousing 6-0 win at a packed house at Lynah Rink.
Schafer was coaching his last regular-season game at the barn that he first called home as a freshman at Cornell in 1982. This is his 30th and final season as head coach of his alma mater, where he’s amassed over 500 wins and 14 NCAA Tournament appearances.
