St. Thomas is in year four as a Division I program, and each year, the win total has gone up.
The upward trajectory can’t go on forever, but coach Rico Blasi continues to coordinate all the pieces necessary to make it possible. A new arena is on the way in the fall, followed by a new conference the year after. And there’s no reason to believe St. Thomas can’t win a CCHA championship in the coming weeks. All of these things will make St. Thomas a place that is more and more attractive to recruits, and that’s the name of the game.
